What's a .md File?

Markdown — a plain text file with simple formatting marks. Open it in Notepad and it's perfectly readable. Open it in a free Markdown viewer (VS Code, Obsidian, or even paste it into any AI chat) and it renders with nice headings and tables. It's the same format as the CLAUDE.md template — which is not a coincidence.
